my son now 2 has been sitting at the table with us to have dinner since he was 10 months old. He has just eaten what ever we eat just chopped up. he had most of his teeth though so he could eat what we eat. he hasnt let me feed him since he was 12 months old he would just shut his mouth & turn his head. he makes a mess though but they have to learn sometime. he is very indapendant once he learns something he has to do it for himself.
